Christine Blasey Ford arrived on Capitol Hill on Thursday morning to testify at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing into allegations that she was sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, according to NBC News.
Ford, who alleges Kavanaugh drunkenly pinned her down and groped her at a party in 1982 when she was 15, will testify first.
Kavanaugh has strenuously denied her allegations.
In Ford’s previously released opening statement, she describes the alleged assault and the circumstances leading up to it, but admits she doesn’t recall all of the details — like exactly when and where the party took place.
After she reads the statement, each committee member will get five minutes to question her in a process that could take up to an hour and 45 minutes.
She will leave the room before Kavanaugh enters for his own testimony and questioning.
