She hasn’t had a formal news conference in 251 days, but Hillary Clinton found time to record a podcast released Friday to answer questions that voters likely couldn’t care less about.
The Democratic presidential nominee fielded a series of softball questions posed by Max Lasky, who spilled the beans on what was ahead right off the bat.
“Full disclosure, I’m not a journalist, I’m not impartial and I’m a huge supporter of Secretary Clinton, and I’m thrilled her campaign asked me to do this,” gushed Lasky of Brooklyn-based Pineapple Street Media.
Listeners learned Clinton wakes up about 6 a.m before her alarm goes off with a ring tone that is “the most obnoxious sound I could find” in case she oversleeps.
Clinton revealed that she does what a lot of people do in the morning — she checks her texts, e-mails and news updates.
And after a particularly busy week, like during the convention, she’d rather just stay in bed.
Brooklyn-based Pineapple Street was hired by Team Clinton to produce a series of podcasts titled “With Her.”
