Donna Shalala, president of the Clinton Foundation, suffered a stroke Tuesday in Manhattan.
Shalala, 74, former secretary of Health and Human Services under President Bill Clinton, became ill after the Clinton Global Initiative meeting at the Sheraton New York and was taken to a hospital, where she was in stable condition, the foundation said.
