Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials are flush with gratitude.

The state agency has given an unusual message of praise to park visitors — thanking them for not pilfering toilet paper from green-space restrooms amid the coronavirus pandemic gripping the country.

Electronic signage at Boyd Lake State Park in Larmier County read “Thank You for not stealing our Toilet Paper!!!” in a photo the department tweeted over the weekend.

“To those that haven’t stolen toilet paper at our #ColoradoStateParks, thank you,” the tweet says, along with the hashtag, “#DoingMyPartCO.”

There are currently more than 700 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Colorado, according to state officials.

Toilet paper has been a hot commodity during the outbreak of the potentially deadly virus in the US, with many shoppers wiping store shelves clean of the product nationwide.
