The gigantic coronavirus hospital that China constructed in just 10 days has opened its doors to patients.

Huoshenshan Hospital — on the outskirts of Wuhan, where the deadly virus originated — welcomed its first patients at 10 a.m. Monday at the 645,00-square-foot facility, according to state media.

No information was provided about how many patients were admitted to the infirmary, which has 1,000 beds, or their condition.

The makeshift hospital was completed Sunday following several days of round-the-clock construction in the central Chinese city, which has been under lockdown in an effort to contain the virus.

Around 25 miles away from the newest site, a second emergency facility, Leishenshan Hospital, is also set to open this week
