The number of coronavirus cases across the world topped 3 million on Monday, with nearly one-third of them in the US.
As of Monday evening, the US was edging toward the grim milestone of 1 million cases, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its list of COVID-19 symptoms, adding six new possible indicators of the potentially deadly bug — including chills, muscle pain, headaches and a sore throat.
