Embattled Los Angeles City Councilman Curren Price fainted Wednesday morning inside City Hall, prompting an emergency response just before the City Council meeting was scheduled to begin.

Price collapsed during a presentation honoring black women, held shortly before council convened, The California Post learned.

A short time later, the City Council president announced from the dais that Price was stable and being treated at a local hospital, easing immediate concerns as council business moved forward.

The episode marks the second time Price has fainted in recent months. In October, Price suffered a similar medical incident at a public event, where his office later said he had been treated for dehydration.

“Councilmember Price fainted earlier today during a Black History Month presentation and appears to be in stable condition. He is currently being evaluated out of an abundance of caution, and his family appreciates everyone’s prayers and well wishes,” Price’s team told The Post.

The latest health scare comes as Price remains at the center of a federal corruption case, facing allegations of bribery, embezzlement and conflicts of interest tied to city votes and public funds. A judge ruled last week that prosecutors presented enough evidence for the case to proceed.
