A Georgia couple has been accused of slaughtering a bartender and dumping his dismembered remains in a lake.

Mario Andre Barber, 46, and Brittany Amber Baker, 42, were arrested Monday for allegedly murdering 37-year-old Jamal Parker in a six-bedroom home in an upscale neighborhood outside of Atlanta, according to theDouglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators made the grim discovery of Parker’s remains in the Dog River Reservoir, roughly 30 miles outside Atlanta, on May 15.

They confirmed his identity using DNA comparison technology after his grief-stricken father alerted authorities that the victim’s tattoos matched his sons, WSBTV reported.

Authorities believe the couple killed Parker, a beloved bartender who worked at Ms. Icey’s Kitchen & Bar in Atlanta, inside the $640,000 home in Douglasville, where Baker lived, according to public records.

In late May, investigators were seen leaving the home with a reciprocating saw and cleaning supplies, WSBTV reported.

Police haven’t revealed how Parker knew the alleged killer couple, but a GoFundMe created in his honor described the pair as “people he knew and trusted.”

Barber and Baker, who both have lengthy criminal records, pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday and are being held without bond.

“I want them to be punished. And I don’t even think a life sentence is good enough,” Parker’s dad Charles Parker old WSBTV outside the court.

“It’s the kind of stuff you see on TV, but I mean they… They had no remorse.”

Parker was described as a “beautiful soul and spirit” in his tear-jerking GoFundMe post. Aside from bartending, he was a musician and artist.
