A 170-ton crane being used to renovate a Queens courthouse toppled over yesterday, striking the building and injuring two people, authorities said.

The State Supreme Court building in Jamaica was quickly evacuated.

The crane operator suffered head trauma and was in critical but stable condition at Mary Immaculate Hospital.

A woman was in stable condition after being hit by glass from a shattered window on the building’s sixth floor, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Late last night, officials evacuated more than 100 residents of two nearby buildings endangered by the crane. The Red Cross set up a shelter at a nearby school.
