SAN MATEO, Calif. — A 16-year-old Chinese girl found dead on the San Francisco International Airport tarmac had survived her Asiana Airlines flight’s crash on July 6 but was struck by a rescue vehicle rushing to the scene, a coroner confirmed yesterday.

San Mateo County Coroner Robert Foucrault’s autopsy on Ye Meng Yuan showed the cause of death was multiple blunt injuries consistent with being run over by a vehicle.
