A creep from New York tried to lure a 3-year-old girl into his van in Pennsylvania with a puppy, police said.

Sixtus Chiemeka Udeke, 39, was arrested Friday after the girl’s mother told police that a man in a silver Ford van asked her for a cigarette as she pulled into a parking lot at a retail store in York County, West Manchester Township police said.

The woman, who was with her husband and two daughters at the time, told police she complied with Udeke’s request before he asked her 3-year-old if the girl wanted to see the dog in the back of his van.

But there was no puppy or any other cuddly animal inside the vehicle, police said.

The girl’s mother drove to another store and called cops. Udeke, of Walden, was later arrested on charges of luring a child into a motor vehicle or structure.

Responding officers found Udeke in the van, which had temporary New Jersey license plates, along with two other men, West Manchester Township police said.

Udeke, who was arraigned Friday, is also known as Azubuike Nuubisi Anodu, police said.

Udeke remains in custody at the York County Prison after being denied bail. He’s due to return to court on Nov. 21, PennLive.com reported.

It’s unclear if he’s hired an attorney.
