A heartless sicko was arrested in Arizona for killing his golden retriever service dog, stabbing the animal over 100 times, authorities said.

Jacob Bushkin, 27, of Scottsdale was busted at his attorney’s office Thursday on felony charges of killing a service animal and animal cruelty, authorities said.

Investigators say that officers from the Scottsdale Police Department were called to a veterinarian office in Phoenix around 1 p.m. Monday.

Staffers reported that a deceased dog, still in the office, had been killed at a Scottsdale residence.

Police say Bushkin called his family members that same day sometime between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. to tell them that his dog, Cub, an Arizona state qualified service animal, was dead at his home.

Family members went to the residence and found the dog in a garbage can, then rushed it to the veterinarian office.

The vet called police after finding the tragic pooch had dozens of stab wounds and his throat had been slit.

The Arizona Humane Society brought the slain dog to Midwestern University in Glendale, where a necropsy was performed.

The necropsy revealed that the golden retriever had been stabbed more than 100 times and that the animal was alive when the alleged attack occurred.

Detectives attempted to contact Bushkin by phone, but he refused to talk to them, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.

A search warrant was used at Bushkin’s home, where further evidence of the crime was recovered, cops added.
