Gov. Cuomo on Friday launched a scathing attack on two upstate Republican lawmakers who voted for the House GOP budget that could hammer many New Yorkers by eliminating federal deductions on state and local tax payments.

“I think it’s modern-day treason . . . they are the Benedict Arnolds of today because they voted against the interests of the people in their district,” he said of Reps. Chris Collins and Tom Reed.
