A Texas dad faces charges for allegedly slamming a girl who was bullying his daughter into a wall at a middle school.
John David Castillo, 32, was charged with injury to a child in connection with an alleged physical confrontation Oct. 4 at a San Antonio middle school, news station KSAT reported.
Authorities said Castillo and his family went to Jordan Middle School to meet with an administrator, but got into a verbal altercation with his daughter’s bully in the hallway.
Campus police separated Castillo and the other relatives from the eighth-grade girl, and escorted the family to the vice principal’s office, according to officials.
Castillo, however, told the officers that he parked in the fire lane and needed to move the car.
He said he would return to the office, but instead went into the girls’ bathroom and started yelling at his daughter’s bully, police said.
The man reportedly then shoved her against the wall, leaving a slight bump on the back of her head, according to KSAT.
Authorities said they were unable to track down Castillo after the incident.
He was arrested and booked Friday at Bexar County Jail. He was released Sunday on $10,000 bond.
