The shattered daughter of a man killed in the Colorado supermarket massacre shared heartbreaking photos Tuesday of her dad walking her down the aisle at her wedding last summer.
“I am heartbroken to announce that my Dad, my hero, Kevin Mahoney, was killed in the King Soopers shooting in my hometown of Boulder, CO,” Erika Mahoney wrote in a tweet above a snapshot of the pair at her wedding.
“My dad represents all things Love. I’m so thankful he could walk me down the aisle last summer.”
Mahoney then added that she is now pregnant — with a daughter her father will never know.
“I know he wants me to be strong for his granddaughter,” she said.
She posted another photo of the father-daughter pair on her wedding day that showed her radiant and him beaming as he held her arm.

According to her Twitter page, Erika is news director at KAZU public radio in California.
Her 61-year-old father was among 10 people killed in the Monday afternoon slaughter at a King Soopers market in Boulder.
