The Democrat’s congressional campaign committee decided on Tuesday to dump more than $20,000 they received from disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

The DCCC told The Washington Post that it received $23,225 from Weinstein in four donations since 1993 and all that cash will now go to a non-profit group that helps those traumatized by violence.

“The DCCC has already cut the check to donate all old Harvey Weinstein money to Futures Without Violence,” DCCC spokeswoman Meredith Kelly said in a statement.

The move comes more revelations about Weinstein’s seedy past came to light on Tuesday.
