The Kentucky State University student shot dead by a gunman on campus was identified as an Indianapolis teen as more details around the shooting came to light.
De’Jon Darrell Fox Jr., 19, was killed and another student was injured by alleged shooter, Jacob Bard, after a “physical altercation” paved way for the deadly violence Tuesday afternoon, according to an arrest citation obtained by WHAS.

Fox was killed and another student was injured by alleged shooter, Jacob Bard, after a “physical altercation” paved way for the deadly violence Tuesday afternoon. Franklin County Regional JailFox was rushed to the hospital following the shooting and pronounced dead.
Bard, 48, is not enrolled at the school, but has ties to the college because two of his sons play for the baseball team, according to the Indianapolis Star.
He was arrested and booked on murder and assault charges, police said.
