DOVER, Del. — Authorities say they have lifted a lockdown at Delaware State University after a student was shot at an off-campus residence hall.

Dover Police Cpl. Mark Hoffman said Monday night that while the shooter is still at large, investigators believe the crime is an isolated incident.

Hoffman says the shooting took place after 4 p.m. at the Living and Learning Commons, about a half-mile north of the campus.

Dover emergency manager coordinator Kay Sass identified the victim as a male student. Sass says he was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
