WASHINGTON — Maybe President Obama isn’t done campaigning after all.
As he prepares to take the oath of office for a second term, Obama is converting his massive campaign organization into a nonprofit that will gin up political support for his policies.
The effort, called Organizing for Action, will be headed by former campaign manager Jim Messina, an organizing maestro, and is packed with former White House and campaign alums.
Those who responded to Obama’s request to say, “I’m in,” were invited to contribute campaign cash and can also help steer the group.
