Deep-pocketed Democrats are hoping for a Joe Biden presidential candidacy now that Bernie Sanders has caught up to Hillary Clinton, according to a report.

Sanders may be too left-wing to defeat a Republican in November, so the party’s fat cats should hold on to their wallets in case the vice president jumps into the race, donor Bill Bartmann e-mailed Dem loyalists, Reuters reports.
