The search for a missing 11-year-old Colorado boy is continuing Wednesday as investigators warn against “misinformation” being shared on social media, authorities said.

Gannon Stauch was last seen leaving his Colorado Springs home on Jan. 27 when he left to visit a friend, his stepmother, Letecia “Tecia” Stauch, told the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The search — which has generated at least 184 tips from the public and exceeded 2,400 man-hours by investigators — is being conducted in “very specific” areas Wednesday, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Jacqueline Kirby told The Post.

Kirby declined to elaborate on where deputies would focus those efforts.

The spokeswoman also refused to comment on reports that a neighbor said his home surveillance system caught Letecia Stauch and Gannon getting into a red truck early Monday before she returned home hours later without her stepson.

“I just kind of backtracked from Saturday to Monday, and that’s when I caught some information,” neighbor Roderrick Drayton told KMGH.

Drayton said the footage clearly contradicts what Letecia Stauch has told investigators.

“I mean, it blows her story out of the water,” he told the Denver Post. “She came back at 2:19 without him.”

Kirby confirmed that the footage remains a part of the ongoing investigation, but declined to confirm whether Letecia Stauch was caught on video as her neighbor described.

“We are not going to speak [of] its content,” she said.

No suspects have been identified in connection with the boy’s disappearance, Kirby said.

Sheriff’s officials, meanwhile, released a statement late Tuesday warning the public that “mis-information that is being spread on social media” was hindering the search for Gannon.

“Any information that is prematurely released and is not directly from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is not a credible source,” the statement read. “Any pertinent information on this case will be put out as the investigation allows. Through the course of an investigation, we follow leads and tips until those are exhausted.”

Anyone with information about Gannon’s whereabouts is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at (719) 520-6666.
