Wild video footage captured an all-out brawl breaking out over spilled wine at an upscale New Jersey restaurant — with an elderly diner lunging at another man with a steak knife.
Restaurant-goers can be heard shrieking in the clip, taken inside celebrity chef David Burke’s Red Horse restaurant in Rumson last Thursday — and ending with the arrest of a 75-year-old Florida man, David Gulley, police told NBC 4.
The chaos started with wine being spilled on the wife of the unidentified diner seen next to Gulley, police said.

Several patrons could then be seen trying to pull the two men apart as they wrestle on the floor.
The other man sustained a cut to his hand but declined medical treatment, according to authorities. It was not immediately clear if he knew Gulley before the fight.
Restaurant workers called the police — who arrived in time to witness Gulley punch one of the managers, police said.
The fight between diners broke out after one man spilled wine accidentally on the other’s wife, police said. NBC News / RedditBurke lauded his staff for their poise in handling the skirmish.
“In the grand scheme of things, this was a minor, although admittedly, unusual incident that my staff handled very well,” the “Iron Chef America” reality star told NBC 4 in a statement.
“I am proud of them. They did exactly what they should have done — intervened to defuse the situation and called the police.”
Red House restaurant in Rumson is owned by celebrity chef David Burke. Google St ViewGulley has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
He was issued a summons and released.
