A Florida woman is suing the Most Magical Place On Earth, claiming it knew that seasonal nesting birds were a threat to Disney resort guests but refused to do anything about them — which led to her being attacked and injured.

“If there’s a company that’s well-versed in safety, it should be Disney,” the woman’s lawyer, Thomas Schmitt, told the Orlando Sentinel.

His client, Lisa Dixon, says she suffered a severe brain injury after being “dive-bombed” by a seasonal migrating bird at a Walt Disney World Resort in May 2017. Schmitt would not say what kind of bird, though.

“It’s changed her life,” he said.

Dixon’s lawsuit claims that Disney knows about the aerial threat, but refuses to tell hotel guests or do anything to keep people safe. The Midwesterner, who is in her early 30s, had been walking along a dock at Disney’s popular Polynesian Village Resort when she was attacked, the suit says.

Dixon is reportedly seeking unspecified damages in excess of $15,000. Disney reps told the Sentinel that they plan to address her allegations in court.
