This guy’s braver than Indiana Jones.

A Disney World worker who heroically threw himself in front of a runaway 400-pound bouncing boulder revealed the split-second decision he made to protect the audience.

During the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show at Disney’s Hollywood Studio in Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 30, the giant rock flew off its track and began bouncing toward the audience.

The stunt is meant to recreate the iconic scene from “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” where Jones runs away from a boulder.

Robert Herrick, a Disney cast member for 30 years, instead stepped in front of it.

Viral footage captured him hurling himself in front of the projectile and getting walloped.

Herrick refused to take credit for his heroics in an interview with WFTV Channel 9. “My only thought was that thing could reach the audience,” he said.

“I was probably out of my seat before [the boulder] went over the thing, without any thought of what was going to happen,” he added to 7 News Miami.

Video showed him standing up with blood dripping from his head. After the chaos, he returned to the stage to reassure the crowd with a wave.

The accident left Herrick with two fractured vertebrae and wearing a neck brace for the next eight weeks.

Still, the hero expressed his love for the show and his cast mates, saying he’s excited to get back to work.

The infamous boulder, however, will not be making an appearance anytime soon, Disney said.

GoFundMe page launched to support his recovery describes Herrick as a devoted husband and father to three daughters. He and his wife Kim have pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“On behalf of our family, we want to share our heartfelt thanks for the many prayers, messages, calls, and kindness that have surrounded us during this past week,” Kim wrote in a Facebook post after the accident.

“We are grateful to share that he is now home, surrounded by family, and focused on rest and recovery.”
