WASHINGTON — Timothy Cardinal Dolan yesterday nixed the White House’s latest contraception-coverage plan.

Dolan, president of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, said the compromise — requiring for-profit religious-group employees to get free birth control from a third-party insurer — still falls short.

Ministries may still be “forced to fund and facilitate such morally illicit activities,” Dolan said in a statement.
