Wild video footage shows a dolphin swimming through floodwaters after Hurricane Ida drenched Louisiana.

Amanda Huling told CNN that she and her family spotted the adorable aquatic mammal breaching the floodwaters Monday as they cycled back to their neighborhood in Slidell to check for storm damage.

“It’s right there!” someone could be heard in their video, with another person giving an amazed-sounding laugh.

Huling said she saw the distinctive dorsal fin come above the water several times, with the clip also shared with WDSU showing it was just in front of an estate of new-looking housing.

The report did not detail exactly what the flooded area normally would be, but there were trees and plants sticking out of the water.

Drone footage showed huge areas of Slidell badly flooded, with police rescuing people stuck on roofs — and one man going missing after his wife reported he’d been attacked by an alligator.
