Donald Trump Jr. will reportedly soon meet with the House select committee investigating last year’s riot at the Capitol.

The former president’s son’s voluntary appearance would come after his sister Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, both White House advisors, spoke to the House select committee.

Trump Jr., 44, was slated to meet with the panel in the coming days, according to ABC News.

The committee is in possession of text messages sent during the riot from the Trump Organization executive to former chief of staff Mark Meadows that apparently showed White House officials were concerned about the violence unfolding at the Capitol.

“He’s got to condemn [the riot] ASAP,” Trump Jr. wrote Meadows in a text message, according to panelist Sen. Liz Cheney.

“I’m pushing it hard,” Meadows replied. “I agree.”

“We need an Oval Office address,” Trump Jr. wrote. “He has to lead now. It has gone too far and gotten out of hand.”

Trump Jr.’s fiancé Kimberly Guilfoyle complied with a subpoena and spoke with investigators for the second time earlier this week after she cut an initial voluntary meeting short.

Guilfoyle was grilled about her role in organizing and raising funds for the White House rally that preceded the violent revolt, an event which she spoke at along with former President Donald Trump.

Hundreds of witnesses had already testified before the panel, including more than a dozen members of Trump’s staff, officials said.

The nine-member committee voted unanimously earlier this month to hold former aides Peter Navarro and Dan Scavino in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena.

The panel, which consists of seven Democrats and two Republicans, had alleged that Trump conspired to “defraud the United States,” in a court filing ahead of the disclosure of its findings.
