This paddleboarder was trying to take one whale of a selfie!

But this apparently camera-shy humpback had other plans, as it surfaced from the water and knocked the woman’s phone out of her hands.

This amazing scene happened off the coast of Santa Cruz, Calif., and was snapped by photographer Jodi Frediani.

A pod of humpbacks were feeding this particular afternoon on local anchovies when two female paddleboarders went out to get a closer look — one of them a bit too close.

“I’m guessing she was trying to get (a selfie of) the whale, but I don’t think she expected to get that close,” Frediani told The Post on Wednesday.

The woman was not hurt, didn’t fall off her board — and didn’t even lose her phone, which was attached to a cord around her neck.
