Dramatic video shows a tractor-trailer billowing smoke and fire on Saturday morning in Washington Heights.

The truck went up in flames shortly before 5:45 a.m., as the driver was traveling from the Cross Bronx Expressway onto the Major Deegan Expressway, an FDNY spokesman said.

Footage posted to the Citizen NYC Twitter page shows firefighters tending to the engulfed cab of the CSX Intermodal truck as huge clouds of grey smoke billow from the blaze.

Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour and no injuries were reported, the spokesperson said.
