Prosecutors say a Florida driver mowed down a family on a sidewalk — killing a real estate lawyer — all while high on erotic-themed “whippets.”

Joesph Franco, 27, appeared in court Thursday in connection to the fatal crash that occurred in July 2018 when he suddenly careened his Honda Odyssey off a street in Sunny Isles Beach, the Miami Herald reported.

The driver from Aventura plowed into the family of four walking on the street.

The crash killed 24-year-old attorney Amir Pelleg and sent his wife and two daughters to the hospital, according to police.

Witnesses said Franco tossed a black duffel bag in the trash moments after the crash. Investigators later determined the sack contained 12 used cans of “XXX Platinum Triple Refined Cream Chargers,” an erotic-themed version of nitrous oxide, according to the Miami Herald.

Prosecutors believe Franco inhaled the nitrous oxide — also known as “whippets” — before causing the fatal crash.

Franco was slapped with lesser charges in November and released on house arrest.

He now faces charges for DUI manslaughter and was ordered held on $77,500 bond, according to court records.
