A drunk driver mowed down pedestrians in reverse — and then sped forward to finish the job — disturbing new video shows.

The dramatic footage opens with a drunk motorist in a red Chevrolet Aveo arguing with another driver in the middle of a Mexico City street.

Suddenly, the driver hurls a water bottle at pedestrians who have gathered around to witness the shoutfest.

The driver in the Aveo then speeds off with the pedestrians giving chase. Moments later, the driver zooms backwards toward the pedestrians, plowing into several of them.

The maniacal motorist then puts the car in drive and runs over some more pedestrian for good measure.

It was unclear if any of the victims were seriously injured.
