
Drug-jail overhaul
WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder yesterday called for major changes in sentencing in drug cases.
Holder is instructing US attorneys to use new tactics to keep sentences down — including not writing down the specific amount of drugs an accused dealer intends to distribute in some low-level cases.
