CAIRO — Deadly clashes broke out at funerals of slain supporters of Egypt’s ousted Islamist president yesterday, a day after 72 demonstrators were killed at a sit-in calling for the return of Mohammed Morsi.

Two more men were killed and scores injured in violence that followed the funerals of two Morsi supporters yesterday in the cities of Kafr el-Zayat and Port Said.
