Egypt will continue to support Syria’s 2-year-old uprising but not jihad, the new Egyptian foreign minister said yesterday.
“Everything will be re-evaluated,” Nabil Fahmy said in a speech addressing issues raised by deposed President Mohammed Morsi.
Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood chose not to prevent Egyptians from flooding into Syria to join what some rebels consider a holy war.
