Sen. Elizabeth Warren is taking sides against Joe Biden in the fight over busing — while attempting to float above the racial fracas roiling the Democratic presidential field.

“I’m not here to criticize. I’m here to talk about how we build a future,” the Massachusetts Dem said Friday after reporters asked for her reaction to Biden’s latest race-based gaffe.

“But I’m already on record on busing and using busing as a way to help communities that are diversifying,” she said.

Warren is a co-sponsor of a bill that would provide $120 million in federal funding for localities to increase school diversity — including through busing programs.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California) clashed with Biden in Thursday’s debate over his opposition to federally mandated busing in the 1970s.

“There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public school, and she was bused to school every day. That little girl was me,” she said.
