Elon Musk admitted early Wednesday that he wishes he could take back some of the brutal jabs he hurled at President Trump during their white-hot public feud last week.

“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week,” the world’s richest man wrote on his public media site, X.

“They went too far.”

Musk’s mea culpa came after Trump said he wished him well — “very well, actually” — and the Tesla founder replied with a heart emoji.

Musk did not specify which of his posts he most regretted from the feud, which exploded on social media as the president admitted in a press conference that they were no longer tight.

However, the South Africa-born tech titan then took credit for Trump’s success — and even suggested at one point that Trump should be impeached and replaced by Vice President JD Vance.

Most explosively, Musk even suggested at one point that the president was only withholding documents related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein because the had something to hide.

“Time to drop the really big bomb: Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk had posted on X during the spat.

The about-face comes after the former “First Buddy” first signaled Monday that his feud with Trump may have been starting to cool.

Trump, for his part, had insisted over the weekend that their once-tight relationship was over but has since said he wouldn’t have a problem if Musk called and wished him well.

“We had a great relationship and I wish him well — very well, actually,” Trump said told reporters at the White House in a clip that was later shared on social media.

Musk responded by posting a heart emoji to the post.

The saga had slowly started to seep into the public eye when Musk denounced the administration’s sweeping “Big Beautiful Bill.”

Musk then took it a step further, chastising the bill as an “outrageous, pork-filled” measure and a “disgusting abomination” as he urged Republicans to “kill” it.

Trump blasted Musk in response, saying he’d gone “crazy,” “lost his mind” and mused about cutting off government contracts to the tech mogul’s companies.

Sources close to the billionaire have said his anger has started to subside in the wake of their public spat — and that they believe he may even want to repair his relationship with the prez.
