Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer has claimed the convicted sex offender never created a “client list,” and said there was no suggestion that President Trump had done “anything improper or even questionable.”

In an opinion piece written for the Wall Street Journal, famed attorney Alan Dershowitz said he knows “the facts” and wanted to make “several important things clear” amid a political firestorm over FBI files related to the late, disgraced financier.

“Epstein never created a ‘client list.’ The FBI interviewed alleged victims who named several ‘clients.’ These names have been redacted,” Dershowitz wrote.

He also stressed that “we don’t know whether the accusations are true” and that the names mentioned “don’t include any current officeholders.”

The high-powered attorney also dismissed the existence of “incriminating videos” taken by hidden cameras in guest bedrooms at Epstein’s home.

“There are videotapes, but they are of public areas of his Palm Beach, Fla., home,” he wrote, adding that the cameras were installed by the police after Epstein reported that money and a gun had been stolen from a drawer in the living room.

“I am not aware of video cameras in guest bedrooms,” he said, before dismissing claims of Epstein having compromising material related to Trump, whom Dershowitz previously represented during his first impeachment trial.

“Open records show an acquaintance between Epstein and Mr. Trump many years ago,” he said. That relationship ended when Mr. Trump reportedly banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, long before becoming president.

“I have seen nothing that would suggest anything improper or even questionable by Mr. Trump.”

Dershowitz joined Epstein’s legal team back in 2005 when the disgraced New York financier was under investigation for sexual relations with underage girls.

He also looked to dismiss another conspiracy theory about Epstein — that he was murdered in prison.

The Brooklyn-born attorney argued it was “clear from the evidence that Epstein committed suicide,” although he raised the possibility his former client “was assisted by jail personnel” in ending his life. “That seems likely to me, based on the evidence of allegedly broken cameras, transfer of his cellmate and the absence of guards during relevant time periods,” he wrote.

Last week’s Justice Department release of nearly 11 hours of CCTV footage from the jail on the day of Epstein’s death fueled further conspiracies after it was claimed a full minute of the video was missing.

Dershowitz also denied the prevalent conspiracy theory that Epstein was an agent for Israel’s secret intelligence agency, Mossad. “I have absolutely no doubt that Epstein never worked for any intelligence agency,” he wrote, citing his sources in Israel. “If he had, he would surely have told me and his other lawyers, who would have used that information to get him a better deal,” he continued.

In 2008, Dershowitz helped his then-client secure a sweetheart plea deal, allowing him to serve just 13 months in jail while working during the day.

The lawyer has denied having a personal relationship with Epstein but did previously reveal that he had once received a massage from a middle-aged woman at Epstein’s house. “I kept my underwear on during the massage. I don’t like massages, particularly,” he told WPLG in 2019. “Were there young women in another part of the house giving massages when I wasn’t around? I have no idea of that,” he said.

Dershowitz’s op-ed concluded by dampening hopes of any revelations being released about Epstein’s life. “There is nothing more annoying to gossip mongers than when stubborn facts (or the absence of facts) get in the way of a juicy theory,” Dershowitz wrote.”Sorry to disappoint you, but there is really nothing much to see here, beyond what has already been disclosed.”
