Escaped killer Richard Matt had a sick fascination with murder and joked about “AIDS blood” as a tool of homicide.
Richard Matt in 2008.APMatt made a 1997 video in which he and a buddy joked about creating a blow dart gun that would kill people with tainted blood, according to ABC News.
“Let’s dip these in AIDS blood, and we’ll put a patent on them and sell as deadly weapons,” he told the camera while holding a dart.
Matt was serving a life sentence for the 1997 kidnapping, torture and slaying of businessman William Rickerson — who he believed was stashing a huge amount of money.
