

The Democratic debate tonight will feature ten candidates vying to be the party’s nominee for the 2020 White House race.
Here’s what you need to know ahead of the nationally-televised contest.
What time and where is Wednesday’s Democratic debate?
The event starts at 9 p.m. EST, and is slated to run two hours. It’s being held at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
How can I watch the debate?
The debate will air live on MSNBC, and will be streaming on the outlet’s Web site, as well as washingtonpost.com.
Which candidates made the November lineup?
The following candidates will face off in the debate: former Vice President Joe Biden; Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren; Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders; South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg; New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker; California Sen. Kamala Harris; Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar; Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard; businessman Andrew Yang; and billionaire hedge-funder Tom Steyer.
Who is standing where on the stage?
From left to right, the candidates will stand in the following order: Booker, Gabbard, Klobuchar, Buttigieg, Warren, Biden, Sanders, Harris, Yang and Steyer.
Who is moderating the debate?
The debate will have four moderators: MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Andrea Mitchell, NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker and Washington Post White House reporter Ashley Parker.
What topics are expected to be discussed?
Health care will likely feature prominently among debate topics, as it has in the previous rounds. Voting rights, immigration, gun control will also likely receive ample time, as will the actively unfolding impeachment hearings against President Trump.
How are the candidates polling?
According to a Politico/Morning Consult poll released on Tuesday, Biden tallied support about 32-percent of likely Democratic voters nationally, with Warren and Sanders not far behind.
Buttigieg came in fourth place with about 8-percent in that survey — but he’s fared markedly better in the key battleground state of Iowa, where a Des Moines Register poll released over the weekend has him leading all candidates.
When is the next Democratic debate?
The candidates will meet again for a sixth-round debate on December 19 at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
