PHOENIX — A former cheerleading coach who was accused of sexually abusing two girls has pleaded guilty to reduced charges.
Maricopa County Superior Court officials say 23-year-old Yohel Gattaz pleaded guilty Friday to four counts of attempted molestation of a child and is scheduled to be sentenced March 15 by Judge Jose Padilla.
Gattaz was a cheerleading coach at a private gym in Scottsdale.
He had been charged with aggravated assault, sexual abuse and child molestation.
According to court documents, Gattaz was accused of molesting two girls who were 14 or younger at his home.
