A former Oregon police officer is getting away with a slap on the wrist after soliciting sex from a car crash victim in a deal that allows him to perform a smidge of community service to have charges completely dropped, according to a report.

David McVeigh, 35, formerly of the Milwaukie Police Department, will need to complete merely 150 hours of community service by January after pleading “no contest” to the exploitative action in Clackamas County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Oregon Live reported.

The pervy cop responded to a 911 call of a crashed drunk driver on Nov. 24, 2019, and took the opportunity to prey on the unsuspecting female victim, the local publication reported.

After giving the woman a courtesy ride to her apartment, McVeigh asked the unidentified woman for oral sex, court records reviewed by the outlet stated.

The drunk woman complied with the request, thinking she was making a deal to avoid getting a ticket, according to the report.

The same woman was arrested on unrelated domestic violence charges in 2021 and revealed to cops that she had a sexual encounter with an on-duty officer named “David” two years prior, according to the outlet.

In 2022, McVeigh aroused suspicions of investigators when he was accused of “stalking” a woman in the parking lot of the Spirit Mountain Casino on Sept. 22, the publication reported.

After further investigation, cops found that the woman still had McVeigh’s personal cellphone and dispatch records corroborated her account, Oregon Live reported.

McVeigh was fired in 2023 after criminal charges were filed against him.

Now he has to surrender his law enforcement badge permanently and has until January 2026 to complete the 150 hours of community service in order for the charges to be dismissed.
