A former bank employee in Brazil wore a disturbingly life-like old man mask while trying to rob a location of his ex-employer, according to new reports.

The thief used the movie-quality mask — as well as dark glasses and a flat cap — in his attempt to hide his identity while sticking up a bank Sunday in the state of Santa Catarina, Clarin reported.

He also brandished a plastic gun and attempted to take hostages, the Santa Carina Military Police said.

When the cops closed in, he tried to escape by jumping out a window — but fell on a vehicle and broke his leg, police said.

“In a moment of confusion, he threw himself from the window,” Commissioner Daniel Dias told a local radio station, according to El Confidencial.

Unable to flee, the man — who was not identified in the reports — was arrested.

The thief’s elaborate get-up comes a week after Rio de Janeiro drug trafficker Clauvino da Silva dressed as his teen daughter to try to escape from prison, also wearing a bizarre silicone mask.

The 42-year-old was caught by security guards near the exit doors and died in his cell three days later, officials said.
