Infants are getting a new accessory at a hospital in Thailand — face shields to protect them from the coronavirus.
Praram 9 Hospital in Bangkok said in a Facebook posting that it is using the plastic shields on its newborns “because safety is what we care about the most.’’
The visors, which extend down to the babes’ necks, are being used to give parents “peace of mind,” according to a BBC Thailand report.
