A Tennessee family was found living with the decomposed body of their mother — who may have been dead for two years, authorities said.

Laronda Jolly’s significantly decayed remains were found in a bed with clothes piled on top of her in a Nashville apartment, where she had lived with her four adult children, news station WTKR reported.

The children are intellectually disabled and have been living there since her death, the outlet reported.

One of her children said Jolly had been in the same position on the bed since 2018, WTKR reported.

No cause of death has been determined, but an autopsy has been ordered in the investigation, the outlet reported.

The Nashville Inner City Ministry is working to find housing for her children.
