The family of Celeste Rivas-Hernandez, whose dismembered body was found inside a car linked to the singer D4vd, was seen trying to return to normalcy over the holiday weekend.

Family members of the 14-year-old were seen running errands and taking advantage of Black Friday deals on Friday and Saturday near their home in Lake Elsinore, CA, while the “Romantic Homicide” singer remains under scrutiny for her death.

Photos show Rivas-Hernandez’s parents Mercedes and Jesus Rivas-Hernandez, out shopping at a local outlet mall, while Rivas-Hernandez’s sister, Jennifer, was spotted earlier running errands at a Bank of America ATM.

A Los Angeles grand jury is currently reviewing evidence surrounding Rivas-Hernandez’s death. The teen’s body was found inside a Tesla belonging to singer D4vd — real name David Anthony Burke — after she was reported missing from her home in Lake Elsinore in April 2024.

It’s believed she was living with D4vd in a rented Hollywood Hills home at the time of her death. Her remains was found on Sept. 8 — one day before her 15th birthday — after D4vd’s car was impounded.

Rivas-Hernandez was described as a “beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend,” on a GoFundMe created for her family.

“Her family is heartbroken and devastated by this tragic loss,” it says.

An official cause of death has not been released, as law enforcement is awaiting results of a toxicology report from the medical examiner, sources say.

A Los Angeles grand jury will probe Rivas-Hernandez’s death, according to most recent reports.
