Family members of a Massachusetts teacher who was violently murdered had stinging words for her “scumbag” husband who is charged in her death.

“Don’t even look at us,” a male relative shouted during Andrew MacCormack’s arraignment in Suffolk Superior Court, adding that he was a “scumbag,” according to the Boston Globe.

MacCormack, 29, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to the murder of Vanessa MacCormack, who was found strangled and stabbed in the face Sept. 23 at their Revere home.

Prosecutors alleged that Andrew left the house the day of his wife’s slaying with the couple’s young daughter to buy cocaine.

He later called 911 to report he discovered the 30-year-old mom unresponsive, officials said.

Authorities arrived to find signs of trauma to her body and the home scrubbed clean with bleach.

Defense lawyers said Tuesday that the husband “adamantly” denied the first-degree murder charge.

A judge ordered the 29-year-old dad held without bail — a decision applauded by Vanessa’s relatives, one of whom shouted “yes!” and pumped her fist, the Boston Globe reported.
