The family of a missing California girl who allegedly ran off with her wrestling coach is pleading for her return, according to reports.

The 16-year-old student — identified only by her first name, Alexus — allegedly vanished with 25-year-old Phillip Maglaya, a coach at Franklin High School in Stockton, ABC News reported.

Investigators believe the pair was in a “romantic relationship” and may be traveling in a 1994 green Toyota pickup truck.

Alexus was reported missing Aug. 22 after she left a note in her bedroom and was nowhere to be found, her family said.

“The first page says, ‘I love you Mom and Dad, very much, nothing that you guys did was your fault,'” her mom, Iris Arther, told ABC News.

Her dad went through her phone log and found multiple calls to the high school wrestling coach.

Hours later, the teen’s parents received an email from their missing daughter.

“On the day that she left she sent us an email at like 4:54 a.m., saying, ‘I’m safe, please don’t worry, I love you guys I’ll keep in touch,'” her mom said.

Her father, Ron Arther, said her disappearance is his “worst nightmare” and urged her to come home.

“We love you very much, Alexus,” he said. “I want you to understand that we will get through this together as a family.”
