A FedEx plane that had just arrived from Memphis, Tennessee, caught fire at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Friday evening.
The fire started after the plane’s landing gear malfunctioned, CBS Miami reported. Miami-Dade firefighters extinguished the flames around 6 p.m.
There have been no reports of injuries, according to local media.
This comes just after an American Airlines flight heading to Miami from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport caught fire just before for taking off, injuring at least nine people.
