BOSTON — The US Department of Transportation has ordered the discount New York-to-Boston bus company Fung Wah to cease all operations due to safety concerns.

Massachusetts regulators took Fung Wah off the road in late February after finding cracks in the frames of its buses.

Fung Wah couldn’t be reached for comment.
