A prankster caused an early morning explosion in Las Vegas Saturday, when he reportedly threw fireworks at a palm tree that quickly caught fire before spreading to others, according to witnesses.
Video showed fire erupting outside the Aria Casino, as one witness described the incident as a “big explosion,” footage posted to X showed.

Las Vegas police said someone inside a vehicle threw fireworks at a palm tree, The Mirror reports.
Police and firefighters rushed to the scene, which another witness called “crazy.”
“We just had an explosion go off right now in front of Planet Hollywood,” the second witness said in another clip posted to social media. “Trees just caught on fire.”
“This was crazy.”
Multiple witnesses said they saw a car leaving the scene.
